-Warren ZevonI figured track width was overall width in this case, just wanted to confirm. The F1 proxy is very busy about track width, and it is center-to-center.
About liveries. I think fantasy liveries should be period appropriate. Sorry for not mentioning earlier.

-Warren ZevonLooking at the rules, is “wheel track” defined here as distance from left wheel center-line to right wheel center-line? Or is it overall width, tire-bulge to tire bulge?
-Thanks,

-Warren ZevonDuring the Pandemic and the proxy format, would be a good time for a builder’s series like the tourist trophy. Participation is not limited to track-time, and we can share our builds on the forum, like so:

-Warren ZevonTrack surface is drawn out 1:1 and taped to benchwork. Next, mocking up elevations, and checking sight lines.

-Warren ZevonMark, yes. Primarily 1/32, but if I can find a 1/24 Triumph TR4 kit I would live to recreate the SCCA battles between Bob Tulius, and Bob Sharp back East. (I have the Datsun already)

-Warren ZevonI want to make sure that my track is wired essentially the same as the ASCC track. Here is a diagram I used for the hillclimb track (It does have a reversing switch, which I plan to use)
Should this work okay with you guys’ and the clubs controllers?(There should be an image attached)
And Marty, I would be greatly in your debt if I could use the slot routing gear. Hope to be doing that in December?

-Warren ZevonMarty, I will be sending the beer can to you tomorrow. Do you know if the deep wood guide bottoms out on the Houston track? Not in a good position to swap it out between venues if I entrust it to your care.

-Warren ZevonI had three pictures in this post, but only one, the least useful showed up. Sheesh…

-Warren ZevonI had mentioned some wood-guide clearance issues with ehe Marc 190. The wood guide is much squarer than the stock guide. Marty gave me the go ahead to remove m=some material did not take much. An X-acto on the guide cutout, and a dremel on the backside of the front valence, and we are free for running. The main culprits were two tiny vertical bits behind the license plate. I used the small Dremel sanding drum, the regular one would not fit between the mounting post and the backside of the front valence.

-Warren ZevonTWO group C? Can’t we mix it up a bit? There are some interesting open-wheel possibilities we can look into.

-Warren ZevonI have discovered an issue with the Mercedes 190. When the deep wood guide is installed, it rubs against the back of a plastic insert on the body (inside of brake ducts) Is it against the rules to remove material from the insert, or the guide to ensure free movement?
