Absolutely fantastic! I can’t wait to drive one.

I will throw in the wood guides as I think they make a big difference in the drivability of the cars.

    Ary,

Did you read the article on airbrushing that Russell was talking about? Those look great!

Do the interiors come painted or will you be painting those as well. If you need any help I would be up for doing those.

Are you installing lights in them?

I race at 12 volts or nothing! Just kidding. I did like running at 12 volts. My car is set up to run with weight at 12 volts and the differences in everyone’s motors were less aparent at 12 volts than they were at 10.

Just like running Kings Scalextric rental cars at 6 volts for the kiddies where tt only takes one slip up and you are done because there is not enough power to catch back up. 12 volts requires more control all around especially with the cars being as top heavy as they are.

Wait a minute, what about eleven?

    Ary,

I was thinking about running a team of two BRM cars but needed another driver. Let me know if you are interested. The two car thing works for all other forms of racing so why not our BRM series?

Great track! I like the fact it is three lanes.

    Have you driven it yet?

Are you planning on doing some track landscaping?

    Ary,

Is this your new home track design or one for the club?

    Clyde,

Good luck with connecting the power to your track. Running your first laps on a new track are so rewarding.

It would be great if you could post some pics of your new track.

Being from St Paul MN I fully understand what you are talking about!

Come out and run your cars with us some weekend.

    Gluing Tires
I would prefer to not allow gluing of tires in all but the GT Unlimited. My big reason for not gluing tires was the possible mess caused to the track.

    BRM Series
What happened to the BRM series? I just purchased all the parts along with another car just for this series. I hate to think I need to start talking smack just to get a series started.

Nothing says “Happy Valentines” like a Slot It Porsche 956 in Marlboro livery or a new Slot It GT40 from Sebring 1965. You all might want to start dropping the hints today as they are both available tomorrow at Fantasy World. If your loved one won’t pony up you may think about holding back on the $90 flowers and chocolates and get the car and a $30 bouquet from HEB.

Absolutely terrible news. I wish him the best. I can still remember watching his crash at the 2007 Canadian GP. It would be sad to lose him in F1 to something like this. Racing is not all about F1. I remember when Sandro Nannini lost his arm in a helicopter accident and was able to come back and have a great career in touring cars.
