There has been a large scoring error made with the top car running in the “A” group in the series. David/Butch’s SRC Porsche 914 which was classified in the “A” group is actually competing in the “B” group as its rear tires are only 8.8mm wide and fulfill the rules of that group. The stage and overall results for the series have been updated to reflect this change.
With this change, David is the clear front runner of the “B” group while he is in a close battle in the “A” group with his Fly Porsche 911 against Marty and his Fly 911. It will be fun to watch how it all comes together in Saturday’s final stage of the Monte Carlo ’61-’71 series.
