One of the club’s first race series, once again the Slot.it Group C race proved very popular. This first race of the 2016 Group C race series saw the largest number of entries to date—12 entries. There were only two duplicate liveries in a colorful field of Porsches, Toyotas, a Nissan, and a Mercedes. The club’s three newest members all ran their first races. Welcome to the competition!
Shawn’s beautiful Toyota took top honors, followed by Marty’s (non-tobacco-sponsored) Porsche and Steve’s Nissan in third, all in the Group A driver’s group. Rich completed the most laps in Group B, with second through fourth in Group B very close. Mark was second, Brett third, and first-timer Alejandro in his eye-catching Porsche was fourth.
