I vote for the newer design. I like having the club logo on the plaque.
I’ll second that, but would like to know the increase in cost.

(Leroy Grumman)Very nice!
Are the main sections 4 feet deep?

(Leroy Grumman)I like it. Will there be access on three sides to marshal the deslots?

(Leroy Grumman)I think we can allow gluing tires in the TransAm and F1 series, as we aren’t changing wheels.
In the Open GT class we might want to qualify the tire extending beyond the body for those cars that actually had that on the track. (SEAT Leon comes to mind.)
Otherwise, so far so good. Interested to see other’s feedback.

I edited the front page article – the Leader Board info. Thanks… same error was in the opening article to this thread. Fixed. Always good to have a second set of eyes look it over.
@Shawn, sooooo close! Only 0.049 seconds between your fastest lap and Ary’s fastest lap.

(Leroy Grumman)That’s pretty cool. Love the parking trick and all the AWD action. 😯

(Leroy Grumman)OK… they are now forecasting snow. It’s been cold enough for long enough that the result won’t be pretty, so I guess I’m out too. 😥

(Leroy Grumman)Wow… sorry to hear you are still down big guy.
I’m on the fence for Thursday night. The current forecast of 29 degrees with a “feels like” 18 degrees it is going to be freezing in the back room. If it breaks 40 back there I would be surprised. (personal space heater or not…) 😎
That being said… I really need the practice and I’m losing a day next week. (I have a work function that I have to attend next Thursday evening, plus the wife is out of town next week so I have to be home in the early evening to take care of the hounds.) So… I may try to stick it out for a couple of hours right after work.
I wonder how the controller will feel in gloves. 😉

(Leroy Grumman)So does that mean that you might be able to get a DVD copy from Brazil, or was it only released in theatres?

(Leroy Grumman)It’s hit and miss. Ary hasn’t had much luck with these gears, but I have. (Although I have been running the Slot.it gears because the Challenge race rules stipulate all Slot.it parts.)

(Leroy Grumman)Guys,
The “steward” (me) has just finished a detailed review of the previously reported Round 1 stats and confirmed that a bug in the software has caused the fastest laps to be reported incorrectly. Scoring was done properly in the RMS, (the fastest lap was awarded to the correct driver) but reported incorrectly by me because I used the Statistics display to compute them by hand.I have reported the bug to the author of the software who has confirmed it and promised a fix. The following link will take you to the bug report if you are interested: https://pclapcounter.winnerbb.net/t800-fastest-lap-issue-when-running-heats#3528
Here is a short explanation of the issue: When running in the race configuration that we have selected (we don’t complete laps at the end of a heat) the software is supposed to ignore the lap time of the first lap of the driver’s next heat when evaluating fastest laps. The reason for this is that when the power is cut to the track at the end of a heat and timing is paused, our cars keep coasting. Based on our average lap times we were averaging distances traveled from 10.4 to 15.66 inches per 1/10th of a second. If a racer is lucky enough to have the power cut on one of the straights where they are at or near full speed they could easily travel enough distance to trim over 2/10’s of a second off their lap time.
I have not adjusted the scoring in the RMS, as it is correct. I have simply posted the report from the RMS in place of the original file. I have also updated the summary files because they contained incorrect fastest laps for many of us.
My most sincere apology for making this error.
