Formed in 2009, the Austin Slot Car Club is a mix of enthusiasts from all over the world with a passion for auto racing, music, and of course slot cars. We believe in sharing our passion for slot cars by helping others discover how fun and rewarding the hobby can be.
We welcome anyone with an interest in the hobby, racing, or is just curious. The club is set up to help people with an interest get a better understanding of the hobby and how to get the most enjoyment out of running slot cars.
Checking out the hobby and club is easy. We always have cars ready to run for anyone visiting the club’s headquarters. If you decide you want to run your own car we offer a box stock race for beginners. These races are held using box stock 1/32 scale Carrera GT cars. You can purchase one of these cars for less than $40. The club will help get you set up with one of our controllers so you can give it a try.

The club is located in a warehouse complex at 8222 Jamestown Rd, suite E2. We are in the far northeast corner of the complex.
