Yeah next season is going to be very interesting and when I say interesting, I mean borderline boring. This is like the transition from the Group B rally cars to the last era of cars. They’re really turning to cars down in the guise to make it more accessible to more manufacturers but still slowing the cars down.
I’ll be participating. I’m trying to decide on which Porsche to run, but it will either be a 962 or 956 KH.
Yeah… I don’t have a truck so I don’t think I’ll be entering in that one. I’ve already got 2 cars that are going out in Feb.

One thing to note on the BRM Porsches. There is a chassis change on the later cars. I have an earlier chassis and it makes the motor sit lower than the axle. I didn’t get my gear lash set properly and I munched my crown gear. BRM does make a shim to raise the motor to be inline with the axle and prevent the destruction of the gear. I have a shim and 2 new gears on their way, but I wanted to make everyone aware of the issue in case they are looking to get one of these cars.

I highly doubt it will be here tomorrow and I have a Scouts Pack meeting tomorrow night. Needless to say, I doubt I’ll make it on tomorrow night.

Exactly, Ary. Known issue and Slot.it sends out replacement wheels for that issue. About 50% of the first run of cars had the problem as did one of the Audi R8s.
