The penultimate round of the Can Am 2022 series was run on November 5. This time Marty M.won, followed by David C.and then Mark L. The race for third was really close between Mark L. and John B. After 217 laps (11, 718 feet) John was three feet behind Mark L. See the picture below.
The first five racers on the leaderboard have driven in five rounds in the series. They will all need to drop one race, either one that has already run, or the sixth round. Their point totals will therefore be lower than shown in the Leaderboard. The point totals for everyone else will include their current total, plus whatever they get in the final round.

Horray for Erik – if his ETs continue in the mid-3s, and his laps hover near 76/heat … we should look for him to be on the podium often. Tough luck on his electrical this round … but I am very interested in seeing if he starts to run away with this series (at least in the remaining rounds!)
