The fifth round of the clubs Group B rally series was run in the dark in the normal clockwise direction. The racers have all had time in the first four rounds to get a better feel for their cars and to get them sorted and the times for this round reflected it. The closest race of the day was between Shawn and Marty with the difference between them being 1.6 seconds. Almost all the racers were in the five minute range with Randy being just out side of it by 5 seconds.
The overall results in Group A changed very little with Ary still in front even with his 20 second time penalty for missing the round. Shawn is in second and Marty is 4.415 seconds behind Shawn in third. Group B had no change at the front as well with Mark still leading after another strong showing and Alejandro 44 seconds behind. Third place is John and Randy is only 19 seconds behind him.
The final race could have a big affect on the overall results as Ary will not be racing and Alejandro will miss the round as well. This will throw a big wrench in the works and will have major implications to the final podium finishers.
