Agreed. It will be an expensive year. Fantasyworld is indicating an April release date on the Toyota and a February 14 availbility date on the Marlboro Porsche.
Get ready!rcdParticipantI ordered the Porsche yesterday. I couldn’t help myself! The order seemed to go through fine and i received a confirmation from Scalextric.

rcdParticipantSounds good guys, but I would like to throw in one more possibility – the Racer Daytona Prototypes. These cars primarily use Slot.it parts already and would not require much modification at all. They do cost a little more, but you do not need to spend a small fortune upgrading them. There are quite a few liveries available plus more are on the way. Pattos also makes a large number of decal sets,

rcdParticipantThanks guys!
rcdParticipantDave,
Welcome! Yes, I do have few (actually a bunch) of Indy cars made by Scalextric.
A few of them are still available at on-line retailers plus it is fairly easy to
strip the paint and custom paint what you want. The decals are readily available and reasonably priced. You can also usually find a number of these cars on ebay. They run well right out of the box too. All it takes is a little sanding/trueing on the tires and you are ready to go. I hope to see you at the track.Robin
