So maybe a pinto? Grind off the big bumpers?

-Warren ZevonThis is all very academic at this point, but I would like to look into the possibility of re-bodying the chassis PROVIDED the new (printed) body A: contains all the detail elements of the Revo (driver, roll-cage, glazing, etc) B: The donor chassis is not cut or altered in any way. C: The replacement body weighs no less than the body it is replacing.
At this point I don’t know if it is feasible, but it would be cool to see some Pintos and Gremlins out on the track 🙂

-Warren ZevonI see that I can use a Slot.it inline pod. Will that be allowed?
"Enjoy every sandwich"
-Warren ZevonWith the Racer/Sideways GRP 5, I am not seeing any new cars with an inline configuration, only angle winder. Only angle winder motor pods as well. That being the case, will the series be open to angle winder? Some of us don’t have cars yet, and some of us (ahem) Ordered a car and did not find out until looking underneath.

-Warren ZevonI guess the major decisions left with regards to 2025 series are scheduling, race managers, and rules.
I volunteer to be race manager for Targa Florio, and I nominate Randy to be race manager for th Revoslot SCCA B Sedan (Group 2)

-Warren ZevonAn advantage to having only one rally event is it leaves more track idle time for scenic work to continue.
Group C is more a source of frustration than enjoyment for me, so I won’t miss it.
I am looking for a group 5 car as well. And I thought the Moslers were ugly!

-Warren ZevonIs this where the polling results will be posted? (They were sent out on the mailing list). Will there be new thread set up?

-Warren ZevonSome Cars available for the 67-69 Targa Florio:
SCX has a Lancia Fulvia, and a Fiat 124, George Turner has an MGC-GT kit. I will post more as I find them.
There are also the Ford FT350, and Lola T70 from Thunderbolt, but they are too far out of scale.

-Warren ZevonIf we were to go for a fairly wide slice of time, say from 1966 to 1972, that would give us a wide variety of cars to chose from, including cars many of us already have, including the Slot.it Ford Gt40 and Chaparral, Policar Ferrari 330P3, NSR Porsche 908.
Among other entrants are:
Porsche 911
Ferrari 312PB
Alfa Romeo 33/3
Porsche 907Some more info, links to an Italian site:

-Warren ZevonFor the rally track in 2025, would there be any interest in reviving Targa Florio? I did not participate last time, so I don’t know what cars ran, or were eligible. I might be a nice change of pace from The Monte, and some people should already have cars.

-Warren ZevonThe more I think of it, the more I think a Revo spec series would be good. Should make for close racing.
"Enjoy every sandwich"
-Warren ZevonI have mentioned this to Randy, but might as well open it up to wider discussion. 1:32 B Sedan / Trans Am U2 on the main track
This could use the Revoslot GRP 2 cars we ran on the rally track previously. Many of us have these cars already, and I’m sure many are eager to try out the Revo 510s in competition. It could be a mostly spec series, or we could open it up to allow for more possibilities. What do Y’all think?

-Warren ZevonI am not manager as far as I know. I said I could assist.

-Warren ZevonThe draft rules on the splash page are just a placeholder. At least I hope so.
