I recently stumbled across these cars sold on ETSY.  Bob Hack Racing sells absolutely gorgeous Lexan bodied HO cars with stunning accuracy to historic liveries.  Underneath he has a AFX G+ format chassis, I assume a Wizard or similar ultra-performance brand (he does not reveal the brand of the chassis, perhaps he custom assembles them?)  Prices are too rich for me – floating between $325 and 475usd!  BUT GOSH are they beautiful and with lexan bodies will last a very long time ….  https://www.etsy.com/shop/BobHacklRacing?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=1115117484

Notice the interior details such as the engine’s Webers, bag-o-snakes headers and barely visible grommets on the ‘passenger’ seat and the dash.  He even added physical aero winglets up front and included the header vents over the engine bay.  Somehow he put the engine intake scoops slightly wrong but overall – friggin spectacular!

At 4-years old in Pensacola I repaired my steering linkage on my Ford Pedal-car. Dad later converted this car to a Blue Angel with ailerons and elevators with a working "stick/yoke"; the rudder was controlled by the steering wheel. I like all motorsports - I grew up going to a NASCAR Feeder track with Sportsman and Modified classes, and was lucky to attend drag races in 1970 at Orange County Raceway. My first solder-iron was a Christmas gift at 9yo; I modified T-Jets to be AFX spec before AFX Cars were in local stores. I rebuilt a few tractor & car (SIMCA) engines plus transmissions by 15yo (I still have my ring-compressor and valve spring tool) I am a former mountain and road bike geek & perennial sound engineer.
