Well I won the auction on the BRM Porsche 962 IMSA Bob Akin Coke car. Should be in next week. Something new to play with and race against the Toyota with.

Different era and class, but my 1:24 Corvette came in this week. I’ll be running it Thursday night for the first time.

One thing to note on the BRM Porsches. There is a chassis change on the later cars. I have an earlier chassis and it makes the motor sit lower than the axle. I didn’t get my gear lash set properly and I munched my crown gear. BRM does make a shim to raise the motor to be inline with the axle and prevent the destruction of the gear. I have a shim and 2 new gears on their way, but I wanted to make everyone aware of the issue in case they are looking to get one of these cars.
