It's Alive! The new home track table

Just finished mounting the table to the rolling base.  This table and rolling base will be able to be moved up so it does not take up as much space in the garage and can also be rolled out to the driveway so we can run the cars outside.  Next step:  route the track and mount it to the table.  Looking forward to getting this new track up and running.

Nice design, how big is the track going to be.

The track table is the same size as the rally track – 3.5’x 14′.  I am planning a two lane track that will be easier for my son and his friends to race on.

Here are some updated pictures from today’s limited amount of work.  This track looks like it will  be super fun and fast even though its on the small side.

Looks like it will be a good way to practice for the track at Kings, at least for the corners!

The track that was talked about in the earlier posts is 99.9% complete.  The work was finished this past week with the final landscaping and clean up being completed.  The track was used this past weekend by my son and his friend and it worked great.  I can’t wait to have the club over to try it out and have a few beverages.  I have attached a couple of pics.
