As promised in today’s club meeting I am posting the link to Bret Lindsey’s obituary.  Bret was an early member of the club and fondly remembered by those who raced with him.  The circumstances of the last two years caused an unfortunate gap between the time of Bret’s passing and our awareness of it, but I think it important to mark the passing of an interesting and by all accounts an “all-around good guy” regardless of the timing.

A few ideas were discussed in the meeting related to marking his passing such as a memorial race, naming a turn, or naming the bridge in his honor. More to come on that topic.

Thanks for posting.  He was a little different as the obituary says, but he was fun to have around and race with.  He will be missed.

I like the idea of naming the bridge after him.
