Formula Z: 1/28 F1 slot cars

Well, 

Looking for more info on the 1/28 scale, I came across this:

The idea of having one chassis that accepts several bodies is great, unfortunately Kyosho only really has 2 models of F1 bodies (Ferrari & McLaren) and they cost $40 or more.

Any idea of how durable they are?  The fact that there are two bodies puts them one up on Ostorero?  All we need now is some alcohol, paint and decals to have a full F1 grid.

I have found one picture showing a carbon fiber bumper to protect the front spoiler:

but this bumper is not included on the kit DoSlot sells, maybe we need to contact the fella and ask for it.

The scale does seem a bit off.  I wonder if the pics of the Ferrari have been squeezed, though, as the one shot of the McLaren looks OK.
