All,
Our monthly business meeting is scheduled for next weekend. This is also a series race day. We really need to sit discuss club business and make some plans for the coming year, understand where we are financially, and ratify a couple of things. Rather than try to fit all that in with a race day, I want to move the meeting to the following Saturday, February 19, and also move it off site so we don’t have the distraction of the track and wandering Kings customers.I would like us all to plan to meet at Chuy’s at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 19. (I am happy to host it at my house too, but thought that everyone might want to be closer to the track for late afternoon laps.)
In accordance with our Club Charter [draft] we will need a minimum of 5 members present in order to have a quorum. I expect that at least the club founders and officers will all be present, as well as newer members who desire to have input on agenda items.
Agenda
1) Founder’s final ratification of Club Charter. (Founders)
2) Ratification of Race Series General Framework. (All Members in attendance)
3) Finance report. (Robin Demel)
4) 2011 Series Plan (All Members in attendance)
….a. Finalize series and intra-series list.
….b. Assign “Degree of Difficulty” to each series. (i.e. Simple, Moderate, Advanced, Open)
….c. Identify series that will be included in 2011 Championship.
….d. Identify series that will be used for membership drives.
5) Track Expansion plans. (Marty)
