      We’ve got our own track… and it is spectacluar.  But it still needs some history. 

      I’m wondering… is anyone interested in attending a race as a club event next year?  I’m talking either doing a big camping expedition or renting a condo at some place like VIR.  Just a guy’s weekend away, enjoying a historical (or classic) racing venue.  Watkins Glen?  Daytona? Sebring? Virginia International Raceway?  Petite Lemans in Georgia?  Road trip, or fly-away… I’m open to either.

      Thoughts?

      Build it strong.
      Keep it simple.
      Make it work.

        Brian,

        I think that’s a great idea.  I like the condo idea better than the camping.  Maybe we rent a RV and camp in that?  There are not too many close race tracks to go to.  I would vote for the 24 hours of Daytona.  Classic race, place to park the RV, and long enough race to get to all places around the track, pits and infield.  Tickets for the 2014 race should be available soon.
