We’ve talked at length about adding some variety to the racing. Most avenues we have explored have been dead-ends, but we still have the option to get creative where we are.
Therefore, if we decide to build a rally track (The first decision) then I propose we try to adhere to the following design principles:
- We maximize the course length.
- We install sector timing.
- We make it configurable so that we can easily change the course to one of two or three possible layouts. (Preferably with something as simple as a lane switch similar to those used on digital tracks.)
Question: Do we want to try to size it so that 1/32 trucks can run on it?
