Clerk of the CourseProcedures before race:
Cars should have their body detached from the chassis when presented for inspection.
Collect race entry fee.General:
• Models allowed: Sauber C9 Mercedes, Jaguar XJR9 & XJR12, Lancia LC2, Mazda 787B, Porsche 956/962.
• Log car weight and magnetic pull using a Magnet Marshal.Body:
• Check for any modifications to body or cockpit, weight removal in particular.
• Verify spoiler rigidity.Chassis:
• Check for any modifications to the chassis. Chassis must be intact and not over sanded.
• Check lead wires interference with front axle ride height.
• Check for magnets.
• Verify that tires do not protrude outside the body.
—– A strip of plastic will be provided for this verification. Place the plastic strip against the body and verify that the tires do not touch it.
• Verify that the motor pod does not protrude below the chassis.
—– A strip of plastic will be provided for this verification. Place the plastic strip against the chassis and verify that the pod is level or above it.Motor:
• Check for any modification to the motor.
• Check motor serial number and tamper proof seal condition. Motor serial number most match with the number draw by the racer from race 1 to 3 and from race 4 to 6.
—– Log motor serial number.Motor Pod:
• Check for any modification to the motor pod.
• Check for excessive flash removal.
• Check for the use of spacers between motor pod and chassis.Gears:
• Check for any modification to the gears.Wheels:
• Check for any modifications to the wheels.
• Check wheel size/diameter.Tires:
• Check if tires were glued
—– Lift tire slightly but do not remove it.
• Check for the presence of traction compounds
• Verify tire brandAsk the participant to attach the body and tape over all screws.
Chassis:
• Verify that tape used over screws do not interfere with pod movement.

All work to a car must be done during green flag conditions.

If a car had work done during a race, verify the car for any irregularities listed on the “procedures before race”.
