As I like to rewind motors I was looking for the cheapest source for blank armatures, etc. The following list shows the cheapest places to obtain the most popular models of 1/32 motors and what can be done with each one.

      FC-130 (U$ 4.00): https://www.bwaslotcars.com/chassis/BWA_Chassis_parts.htm
Double shaft NC1 Spec S Can Motor. Snap in fit for Any RTR Slot Car Using an S Can Motor: Scalextric, Fly, Ninco, Carrera, Revell/ Monogram, Cartrix, Slot.It.
This motor can be used to power a car or as a blank. Good commutator and brushes.

      FK-180 (U$ 5.00 – Colgate Motion Toothbrush): Supermarkets – HEB for Texans.
This motor can be used to power a car (limited performance) and you can use a few parts from it. This motor does not have carbon brushes, they are metal and will burn with high amperage. The can and stack can be reused. The commutator is not made of copper and it will melt with high amperages.

      FK-130 (U$ 1.09) 😯 : https://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10001_10001_1586058_-1
This motor should not be used to power a car. The motor is perfect for rewinding, every part is reusable.
Only used by NINCO … so far. Can be used with a mod to replace FK-180 Boxer motors.

      FF-050 (U$ 2.95): https://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10001_10001_232144_-1
This motor should not be used to power a car. The motor is perfect for rewinding, every part is reusable.
This is the replacement motor for scalextric F1.
