To complete the required work on the club’s rally track, it was presented that the club not race in Q2 and use all of those existing race dates as workdays for everyone to come together to help complete the work on the rally track. As a quick reminder, the work remaining to be completed on the rally track looks like this:
• Remove the timing bridge
• Remove the existing copper take and remove any remaining tape residue
• Route the braid relief
• Paint the routed relief and the rest of the track
• Install braid
• Get all of the electronics working
• Get the timing working
• Landscaping
o Install base layer plaster
o Paint the base layer
o Install landscaping layers
o Install landscaping details

This would mean that the club would have to come up with a way to squeeze in the six Q2 Group 2 races along with the three remaining H1 DTM races. One option is to add the six Group 2 races to the H2 calendar to the six dates that have only one race date with a club meeting. This would allow the club to run the full Group 2 series. We would still need to discuss the three remaining DTM races and look at options on how to squeeze those into the calendar.

The club will vote on this proposal at the next club meeting on March 2nd. We will discuss options for getting in all of the 2024 races completed with this shortened calendar.
