We all talked about the possibility of running these cars in a series for 2021 but in the end they didn’t make the cut. In light of this I would like to propose a special one-off event/race where everyone that owns one of these cars can bring it out to run/race and let others try them out and learn more about them.
I would like to have a conversation on this proposed fun event. Please post any and all questions on this forum.
Here is some additional information about the cars and their manufactures.
From BRM:
Hello Marty, first of all BRM and TTS are 2 different companies…we started together but now he is doing something different. So i’m speaking only about the BRM models. There are some clubs racing all these cars together making no difference and some others splitting in 2 classes: Minicars (1000TCR-NSU-R8-MINI-SIMCA) and GROUP 2 (KADETT-ALFA-ESCORT). MiniCars have the rear camber, Group 2 have the front camber. I would suggest to run all together but that is my thought because I like more cars and all different at the starting grid but I understand also the people who are doing different classes…I would tell you to make a test on your track and see if there is so much difference of performance between the 2 classes…it depends a lot also from the type and length of track you have.
From TTS:
Hello, TTS and BRM are different companies. Sometimes we share some parts, but the design of the model is made independently. The only model equal between TTS and BRM Is the 1000tcr that was made together. The Simca, made before by TTS and after by BRM, is different because change the chassis and the wheels. TTS car have a support motor, that helps the correct operation of the gears and also allows more gear ratio. The wheels are smaller for a better look and a better fit under the fenders. The Ford Is made entirely by TTS The new A112 is totaly made by TTS and the front wheel drive Is a totally news. The ones who already tested it said that is very fun and easy to drive, and the performance are equal or better than a rear wheel drive! The biggest difference is that now TTS Cars are made entirely in Italy.
I have attached some images of the cars as well as a complete list of parts for all the cars showing what comes stock on the car and what items you can upgrade/substitute.
Take a look and let’s have a conversation on what day and time would work for us to hold this event/race.

I would love to have a one off race with this cars. My preference would be to run it later in the year when we could all participate.

I’ll participate if we are no longer socially distanced and masked. July-October?

I don’t think I have been able to log in to the individual TTS website, or the individual BRM website. Have you been able to. The retailers seem to have them jumbled like the “catalogue” pages you pasted.

The mad scientists at TTS are making a Autobianchi A112 FRONT WHEEL DRIVE 1:24 mini car.

Mad scientists is correct. The TTS and BRM series have many different options of drivetrain and front wheel configurations. It’s very interesting. You can see that they were not constrained by a set build philosophy. Crazy.
TTS does not currently have a website and relies solely on their Facebook page to communicate their product information. BRM also relies heavily on their Facebook page but they just revealed their new website last month.

I believe that I was the one who brought up the Group 2 BRM/TTX 1:24 “mini” cars for a possible series. I propose that we defer these cars for consideration for series in the second half of the year. I think that these cars would make an excellent series, I have not run any of them yet. Considering the array of chassis setups, some with differentials, some with freewheeling fronts, and the variety of cars, we need more time with these cars to see which cars and which setups we want to include for a series.
