The third race of the Tourist Trophy Revival saw the series tighten up quite a bit. Two points cover the first four places in the series (before the mandatory drop of one race). I had some trouble with my green GTO that I was not able to fix during the race and Mark Lucas’ tight schedule did not allow him time to get his car prepped, and he missed the entire first heat. After missing the first two races in the series, Marty was strong and quick in Race 3, finishing first and fastest. John had a strong race as well and finished second. Randy had a different car this race as he got his printed chassis Cobra hardtop running and finished third. Mark Tyler continues to improve his Bizzarrini to finish fourth.
Brian was able to come into town to attend the races. It was great to have him back.
Marty brought his Fly Ferrari 250 LM, another great looking car.
Randy had better luck with his Cobra hardtop.

With the series half over, John in in the lead now with 37 points; Mark Lucas had 36 points and Randy and I each have 35 points. It looks to be close for the rest of the series. Don’t miss it!
