Final set of rules posted on the home page.
Per 1969 SCCA rules, the B Sedan class has a engine capacity limit of 2000 cc. So the Pinto raced and the Gremlin was too big displacement, just like my Corvair. I attended the SCCA B Sedan races that included the A Sedan cars also. NO Gremlins until the later BFG series in IMSA. I have thought about using a RevoSlot chassis for a non-RS body. The C Production Porsche 911’s got added to Sedans by 1969 to satisfy Porsche since Alfa Romeo had jumped from the Production classes. I’m surprised RevoSlot has not added Porsche 911. John has a Porsche 911 that was the SCCA champion.
My GT1 arriving Nov. 25

There are many Toyota GT1 cars available from the slot car dealers with various color schemes and car numbers. Are we going to try to buy different cars and post them on our website to avoid duplication? I liked that old process from my first few years when we ran one make and model each which made following my car easier.
Thanks for the nomination Datto. Happy to do it. SCCA B sedan was one of my favorite live races where the “Bees” mixed it up with the A Sedans. The rules should be pretty simple being box stock except for tires and guides.
I voted for the top 4 of the top six. I own some Targa Florio 1966-1969 cars without 3D chassis. So I am set with buying a Revoslot Toyota GT-1. I thought the vote was the decision maker. Am I wrong?
We had a discussion at the October meeting that we could skip the Group C class this year and bring it back in 2026, so I was not surprised it did not make the top 6.
I like the 70-73 Targa Florio cars better, but can wait a year. I would like two rally races, but I do not want to sacrifice one of the chosen classes except the Toyota GT. We can run the 66-69 rally series twice, for 7 classes, late in 2025 to let scenic work go forward.
Kim, I think you can find results for the races from the articles. The podium pictures and race result tables tell the story. If you notice someone finishing in top two or three places you can ask that person what they drove. In some cases the car right out of the box was best and in others the owner put a great deal of effort, parts, testing and driving skill into the results. Some members buy two cars for the class plus two or three extra motors. I am not that member! Some of us also have cars built by better racers.
I want to go shopping in at least one class, the 997 Porsche in the same livery as my 1970 Targa Florio Porsche 908/3 roadster
See you at the next race I hope. We are in need of a red car.
I agree with the points scoring for the series with big/rally heats. An alternative that also breaks the 6 race mold, run four races on each track with two in each direction on each track. The “reverse” direction on the big track would make it even more Targa Florio difficult. I’m happy either way. That really would differentiate the club champion for 2025.
I like your thinking David, at least 3 out of four times.
We need to specify the options for the classes. For instance: The Scaleauto Peugeot 208 has two different chassis and maybe different tires for different cars. We would also need to specify if the AWD system must be used.
Some other classes might have a car listed on Pendle or Electric Dreams that we will not allow in the ASCC class like the Ferrari 308 we excluded from the rally this year.
Mosler seems to have a version with an ultra light weight body, in addition to the regular car.
I like these cars and classes we have run. I have plenty without adding new classes but might add a new 1/32 car.

Would this be the Porsche 908 we could run.
Fly 99169 – Porsche 908/2 – Martini Racing
1969 had the 908, Lola t70, alfa 33/2, so to get rid of the fastest cars we have run we go back to1968, although I prefer the 1969 cars.
Go to the results for 2021 Targa Florio by searching for Porsche 908.
The Ferrari won and the race report suggests the Ferrari was easier to drive. I remember some people switched from Porsche to Ferrari. This was one of my favorite rally series.
