Robin,
I know that Marty has at least 1 but it won’t ever see track time. 😛
I’m looking at the Coke IMSA car, well been looking for over a year. It won’t work on the Scalextric track due to the lanes being too narrow. You have to run at least Carrera track as I think Ninco is still too narrow to run the wider 1/24 cars.
August 23, 2010 at 12:55 PM in reply to: Which 1/32 classes would you like to race on a championship? #2011In the Le Mans class, I would like that split into 2 sub-classes i.e. 1995 to current and then 1970 to 1994.
I’ve been mulling this around and I would like to propose 2 Slot.it classes. The first will be the Grp. C class with stock configurations and rear tires can be changed to whatever. Slot.it, NSR, SuperTires, etc. The second will be open to all Slot.it cars but all parts must be Slot.it including tires.
Thoughts?

Thanks, Ary. I’ve seen both and must have confused the 2.
Do you have a link to the NTC boxes?
Why was that Ary? I’ve seen these in person and they’re really nice and functional.
I’m interested in the Flight Box. I think that’s about the size I want.
Thanks for posting these, Brian.
To keep the cars even, you can’t add the Audi R8 or the Nissan R390. Those are far more stable and faster due to the chassis designs and wider wheels.
What does the Challenger rules consist of?
Marty,
I currently have a small tackle box but am leaning to something more like what Ary has posted. I also have a small Carrera 1/32 case to carry my cars. The tackle box has needle nose pliers, wire cutters, wire stripper, Slot.it puller and press, oils, M2 wrench, M2.5 wrench, small screw drivers, gears, pinions, washers, and other misc stuff. It’s currently a disaster and I need a better solution.

Thanks, Marty! Great video.
So grab a couple of cans of paint, some masking tape and get to it!! 😉
I’ve only driven the short track at Mangatech and it was less than thrilling. I’ve driven the track at Race Haven in Toronto, ON and would recommend going if you have the time while up there. Ron is a great guy and I like just sitting down and chatting with him. MiniGrid up in Toronto has a 4 lane 22m Scalextric track but haven’t raced on it. It’s a club track and not open to the public. Lastly, I’ve raced on Monovell’s (Tom) track up in Denver, CO and it’s a painted Carrera track. Very technical and difficult to drive as a first timer.
Ary,
They are S2 silicone tires. Either 19×10 or 20×11 depending on the car they came with.

Marty,
No, I just have a case that I keep all the tires in specific compartments with a piece of paper that tells me what tires are which. Low tech but it works. 😉
