The track was hot (90 degrees) and the field was light, with only 5 racers running the final round of the Toyota GT-One. Some were relieved to see the series pass into memory, while others will miss running the metal chassis and performance that brought to some setups. That said, we saw some good lap times, a little excitement in practice, and Steve’s first win of the series. Hats off to all the drivers and congratulations to the top finishers. We are now off to our first Rally of the year, celebrating the 1966 to 1969 range of the Targa Florio.
