      Ary,

Would you be willing to collect this and update the first post so we don’t have to run through the entire thread?

I want to propose one addition to the rules that is more of a statement than a change:

Tires may be glued to the rim.

Because the classic tire compounds that are currently available from most (all?) of our regular suppliers are so soft (Shore 25 or softer) they tend to peel off the rim under acceleration in corners.  This affected me quite a bit in the late races of the Mille Miglia, and while it didn’t have much impact on my placement (that was due to other issues) it seemed like a needless issue to have to deal with, especially considering how many other issues we have to address with an “open” series.

The reason I want to explicitly state this is because we don’t allow gluing tires to rims in year-long Slot.it series, and I think we have generally applied that rule to the other series, even it wasn’t explicitly stated.

          Build it strong.
          Keep it simple.
          Make it work.

I’m having the same problem with my new 300SL, tires basically slip on the rim. My vote would in favor of gluing tires, in any series.

I think I will run the Daytona Coupe or the Porsche 904.
