I would like for all of us to sit down and come up with a game plan for what the next race we will run and when we can put it on the calendar. I want to make sure the club is offering different things to different people so its not a one series club.
I was also thinking about two possible new races – Slot It Group C unlimited with any and all Slot It parts allowed. The other was any Slot It car unlimited. These two race set ups would be similar and share parts but the base cars would be different. This way Kings can continue to stock parts from one manufacture.

Proposed Austin Slot Car Club Race Classes
Trans Am
• Any Scalextric or Pioneer classic Trans Am car
• All stock with the following exceptions
o No magnets
o Any rear tires
• Track will be run at 12 volts for these races
GT Unlimited
• All manufacture cars with roofs are allowed
• Unlimited modifications with the exception of magnets
• No magnets
Modern F1
• Scalextric F1 cars from 2003 forward
• All stock with the following exceptions
o No magnets
o Any rear tires
Slot It Group C unlimited class
• Any and all Slot It parts allowed
• Only Slot It Group C cars allowed
• No magnets
Any Slot It car with any modifications
• No magnets
Modern LMP class
• All manufacture cars models are allowed
• Unlimited modifications with the exception of magnets
• No magnets
