Thank you all who came to the club’s annual F1 meet and greet; the clubhouse was packed! As always, great local BBQ and a good selection of beverages fueled the festivities which included an IROC All Slot Car Formula GP race.
This year we had visitors from near and far: Tony and Erick Vaughan, a father and son duo from Oklahoma, brought to the track a full array of scratch-built beauties – which, in the midst of hosting, I forgot to take pictures of 😕 . We also had Nigel Wright and Neal Callaghan from the U.K., who shared their stories racing slot cars at Four Lane Black Top, and working as track marshals for great many racing events all around the world, including the 2014 F1 USGP – way to go, guys!
I hope everyone enjoyed their time – I sure did!
