Another close finish on the third race of the series, only one feet separated Jim’s Mosler and Russell’s McLaren after 218 laps. Marty was back with his Ferrari F40 and took third place; the car has been fitted with a new motor and gear combo which proved more reliable than the setup used on the first race. Ary raced a Ferrari 250 GTO, a Fly/Slot.it hybrid setup using Russell’s conversion method, and placed 4th. Shawn took 5th with the Mclaren and Brian 6th with the Corvette.
This race was broadcasted and setup to be recorded, unfortunately, a technical difficulty prevented the recording.
