Group 5 Race #5 Results
This past weekend’s penultimate round of the Group 5 series saw the series leaders in both A and B groups draw closer together in points with only one race in the series left.
Six racers were present for the race with everyone putting in some last minute tweaks to get the most out of their cars for this super competitive series.
The highlights were limited with the highlights for Group A being Ary once again setting a blistering pace while Marty was doing everything he could to not lose any more ground to Ary in the overall point standings. Going into the last round Ary and Marty are separated by four points with both racers needing to drop one round from the series. In Group B Rich has only a one point lead over David going into the final round. This will be the race to watch in the final round. These two have already had some epic races and now with the series win on the line I would think the final race between these two will be one of the best of the year. You should plan on attending the next round of the series on June 13th if you want to see one of the best races of the year.
I am sure Ary, Marty, Rich and David will all be ready to go. Will you be?
