This video has a mini map on the screen:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-yIF2PPMWAI read somewhere that you could get one from Nick for 150-200 euros.
I’m reading more about this and the chassis and wheels appear to be made by Plafit. No idea where he gets the bodies used to create the mold.
Nevertheless, great craftsmanship.

Haha! I learned that last year: it is called LIVERY (fancy he?!). You would say Jag, Silk Cut livery.
Video is ok, just turn the volume all the way DOWN. 😕

One of the following was my gift — try to guess. Hint: My wife picked it without my help.

This kit is a breeze, all you need to do is glue the body pieces together and assemble the car. It will look exactly like the one on the picture, all the the plastic pieces come painted.
Marty,
I didn’t see anyone while I was running .. but someone was there earlier.
I lowered the front wheels about 2~3mm, rearranged the weight and added another 5g to the nose; the total weight is around 180g now. I still need to receive my new chassis and guide — shipping time is horrible this month — but I managed to salvage the chassis I already have, it turned out nice.Yeah!!!
Truck is handling like a GT. Times are:With 30X9 gearing:
Green: 5.048
Blue: 4.985
Yellow: 5.102With 27X9 gearing:
Green: 4.963
Blue: 4.864
Yellow: 4.987I guess I need to setup a second truck myself — need something to compare performance.
Log:
Truck is behaving more like a car. Fastest lap time was 5.07 on blue, 5.34 yellow and green. Need to reinforce all small plastic parts. Tires are too grippy and corners need to be sanded more, could use more acceleration (but it needs less break), can use more 10 grams on the nose — remove lead from guide pocket and transfer to nose.
Bump .. I want this on the fisrt page. 😀
Marty,
It is OK for you to say that you turned the fastest lap with a challenge car: 4.1?? — great job !!!
Do we need a new section: “Marty’s updates” ???I will race my Lancia “The Rattler” LC2 #4.
Clyde,
I guess you can pick the router bit at Home Depot. I bought my copper tape from Jay Hodges (jayhodges@mindspring.com), he is registered at Slot Car Illustrated. The rolls are 1/4″ wide and have 108 feet, the cost is $7 a piece.
Bring some cars to the track to race with us.
