Track Fee’s

Kings would like for the club and its members to be better about paying for the track time we use.  By paying these fees Kings will be able to see a return on their investment and will feel better about allowing the club to use more space in the future.  It is important that anyone who uses the track adhere to these fees.  Although we will not be policing the payment of the fees we will be reminding people from time to time. 

Austin Slot Car Club – Track Rental Rates

Non-Club Member Rates

• 10 minutes for $4 (track time only)
• 30 minutes for $7 (track time only)
• 60 minutes for $13 (track time only)
• * $2 additional to the prices above if the person needs a car and controller

Club Member Rates

• Club nights are free for members, guests pay general track fees
• Club members pay $5 for track use on Saturday (Racing fees are additional)
• Club members pay $8 per hour from Monday to Sunday (excluding Saturdays and club nights)

Let me see if I have this straight:

Club Night Thursdays are free to club members, non-members have to pay rental fees to Kings.

All Saturdays, play day or race day, cost a flat $5 to club members. These fees are payable to Kings when we show up to run. I was totally unaware of these fees due to Kings, so I suppose I owe Kings $100 for all the Saturdays I have run since the first of the year. Is this something new, or was I ignorant as usual?

Jim and All,

The track fee’s have always been in place but it’s always been up to Kings to collect the funds.  Rudy talked to me last week about the fact they have not had anyone pay for using the track.  I told them it would be up to them to collect the fees and the club would do a better job on letting everyone know about the fee’s.  I will have a better track fee sign to put up in the club area next week. 

Don’t worry about the past fees.  I would like for everyone to pay from this point forward and do so without Kings having to ask because chances are they won’t.
