I hope everyone is getting their Slot It Challenge car ready for the series as it’s only one very busy month away. There is only two more Saturday’s and five more Thursday’s before the series is upon us. As the event gets closer I would like to get a better idea of who plans on participating and what car, at the moment, you are planning on running. I want to make sure Kings has ordered enough motors for everyone that plans on entering. I fully understand if you would like to keep your car choice to your self but I would like to get some idea of who plans on participating.
I plan on participating with a Jaguar XJR9, #60 in Castrol Oil Colors.
Please don’t hesitate to post any questions you may have about the Challenge within this forum. If you would like to contact me directly please use my work e-mail address:.
Thanks,
MartyDecember 6, 2010 at 8:44 AM #995I’ll be participating. I’m trying to decide on which Porsche to run, but it will either be a 962 or 956 KH.
December 6, 2010 at 12:15 PM #996I’m in. But I’m still on the fence regarding which car. It will either be the Michelin Sauber or the TicTac Porsche. Need a few more test laps after making a few more tuning mods before I can say for sure.

Haha! I learned that last year: it is called LIVERY (fancy he?!). You would say Jag, Silk Cut livery.
January 11, 2011 at 2:21 PM #1002Looks like I won’t make it to the first one but will really try to make the second race, if that’s legal in the rules. My car will be either a Boss Porsche or a Malardeau Lancia. Will the handout motors come with lead wires and no pinions?

January 11, 2011 at 3:07 PM #1003Bruce,
Good to hear you are going to try and make it. It would be great to have you join us. The motors come with lead wires and a 9 tooth pinion.
Thanks,
MartyJanuary 11, 2011 at 6:06 PM #1004Yes… Good to have you Bruce. The rules allow you to discard one race, so you’re still not too far down by missing the first one. (Assuming the rest go well for you, of course!) 😉

January 12, 2011 at 1:05 PM #1006Shawn,
Have you run the ugly duck with the new motor yet? I won’t ask you for any lap times.

January 12, 2011 at 1:39 PM #1007Why, yes I have. I just got back from King’s for my lunch break. Me thinks the motor that was in the car wasn’t so good before. 😈
