Slot It Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro?

Believe it or not Slot It’s new Audi R18 E-Tron version is actually a real Quattro version.  Looks like Slot It will produce a standard R18 with rear wheel drive and an E-Tron version with actual Quattro four wheel drive.  I knew something was up when Italia Slot’s pictures from Slotlandia of Slot It’s new Audi R18 had the hubs fuzzied out.  I can’t wait for it to arrive!

Why would the hubs be fuzzed out?

The hubs were fuzzed out so you could not see the four wheel drive pulley that is attached to the hub.  Slot It has not officially announced the existence of a four wheel drive Audi R18 so the Forum was asked to fuzz out the image as to not give away the secret.

I see no reason to actually do this.  Ninco and Scalextric have both done this to little benefit.
