      Guys,

I received a call from Alan Smith (SCI) on Monday night. He wanted to respond to my many requests about the Slot It regional’s and national championship’s along with more information on our BRM regional. He also had a lot of respect for the club, our website, our members and all our purchases.

      Slot It Regional
Alan does not have the official Slot It rules finalized but from what he told me the rules are very similar to those we are currently using. He is trying to keep his Slot It races accessible to more people and smaller budgets buy running the cars in as close to stock as possible. He fully understands that Maurizio wants to promote his latest and greatest products while showcasing how fast they can be made to run on Ninco track but he wants to keep the rules far more simple and easy to use.

He would like us to schedule our event as soon as possible so both of us can start to promote it and get the most exposure possible for the event.

      BRM Regional
Alan does not have the official BRM rules finalized but is open to reviewing our revised version. I will send him my final copy today and see where it goes. Just like the Slot It regional, he would like us to get our BRM regional on the calendar as soon as possible so we lock up the date while getting as much exposure for the event as possible.

Alan also received a call from Rudy on Monday to inquire about selling BRM products along with Magnet Marshall. Alan was sending him the dealer paperwork on Tuesday.

On a side note for Ary – Alan failed to put your 3mm grub screws in your order so he is sending them in mine. I should have them by Friday.

Sounds like its time for us to select some dates for our regional events if we are still planning on holding them.

      Marty
