Rotary Tool Recommendations?

Hi Folks,
My old Craftsman rotary tool (aka “Dremel”) is showing its age (20+ years old) with the bearings beginning to get a bit wobbly.  Does anyone have a favorite rotary tool they now use or ones to avoid?

I’m pretty sure I want cordless, but then I’m torn between a bench model and a fully portable model.

Versions of both are available at the local big box stores, but before dropping the cash thought I would see if others have experience and advice.

I have a Dremel 8220 I really like.  I to, prefer a cordless.  The 8220 is a little bulky but very powerful.  The 8260 looks to be an improved model.
