RevoSlot 2018
Slot Car Today announced last week their new cars for 2018 and unfortunately, they have changed their line up significantly from the original list they released back in October. They were originally going to produce the Marcos LM600 and the Lister Storm both cars the Porsche GT2 competed with during the 1995 and 1996 seasons. These would have been great additions to the line and would have given the Porsche GT2 some direct chronological competition. The article and the list as it appeared in Slot Car Today is below.
VIPER, CLK, SUPRA, 333SP, GT 0NE, PANOZ
At the end of last September some of the models that RevoSlot was preparing for the 2018 season were already ahead, after the excellent reception that the Porsche 911 had had. That initial list has undergone some modifications, and although there is still no Dates of commercialization can be anticipated that the first model will be the Dodge Viper GTS-R. It will also continue to offer new versions of the 911 RSR.
The models for 2018 are:
· Toyota Supra JGTC – GT Class LeMans 1995
· Ferrari 333 – LMP LeMans 1997
· Dodge Viper GTS-R – GTS Class LeMans 1998
· Mercedes CLK GTR – LMGTP Class LeMans 1999
· Toyota GT-One – LMGTP LeMans 1999
· Panoz LMP – LMP LeMans 2000

The Toyota’s will come later in the year or early next year. The Marcos has been in the works for almost nine months now.
I am looking forward to the Toyota GT1.
