Guys,
I was talking to Clark at work this morning about our future expansion plans, etc.
If we go ahead and build a modular Scaley track, this would be great for the kids (box stock with magnets). They would get driving experience even if they had never driven a slot car.Have we ever discussed offering a Powder Puff class? Clark’s wife Pricilla is very interested and their 10 year old daughter Elexa is chomping at the bit to race slot cars. Ask Brian about her, as she camped out trackside on her only visit to our track and was thrilled to death when she ran one of the “King’s cars”. She talked about them all the way home to Bastrop. She can’t wait to come back and run slot cars. I gave her my Scaley high impact Audi TT to run and race.
I don’t know how you guys feel about asking your wife or girlfriend if she would be interested in starting a Powder Puff class, but I thought I would ask.
Clark had the same idea about putting windows in the doors and a sign above the doors announcing our “home away from home”.I would love to see us build Marty’s 5 lane dream track. If we did, do you think it would be a “build it and they will come” situation? I would hope to think so. Would we need at least 11 people (5 racers, 6 marshalls) to operate a 5 lane track?
