      1)   Financial Report

      Our bank balance at the beginning of the Quarter was 953.57 with an additional $280 cash on-hand.  After disbursements in the amount of $716 (Hobby Show, BRM El Piloto Cars, and Race Fees) the club treasury has a balance of $517.57.

      2)   Board member status

      • Brian H. will continue in his role as Chairman.
      • Shawn G. will continue in his role as Secretary.
      • Marty M. will be assuming the role of Treasurer.

      3)   Review and finalize rules* for:

      The persons following each racer series title below will assume responsibility for the planning, rule finalization, tech inspections, and timing and scoring for each race series.

      1. Slot.it Challenge (Q1-Q4)
      1. 60’s Classics (GT40 & Chaparral) Russell / Jim. 
      2. 70’s prototypes (Ferrari PB & Alfa 33/3) Roy / Ary 
      3. Group C Marty / Ary 
      4. Modern GT Shawn / Roy 
    • BRM Series (Q1). Marty / Shawn 
    • Mille Miglia (Q2) Brian / Russell 
    • Sideways Daytona Prototype (Q3) Jim / Brian 
    • Classic GT (Q4) Russell / Jim 
    • El Piloto Ary / Marty

      • 4) Status of Expansion Plans

              Move Marty’s track to Kings. Club members to help with the relocation of track and reorganization of the area where the track will be located, as required.

       

      *Rule Adjustments for 2012

      Existing rules will be modified according to the following notes:

      1. Slot.it
      1. Motor pod and wheel size must be the shipped configuration.
      2. Gears, axles, wheel material, and tires open are open.
      3. One change of car per series.
    • BRM
      1. BRM chassis, running gear, pink motor, weights
      2. Any mfg Group C or GTP (IMSA) body
      3. Allowed to drill wood guide to secure motor leads more effectively.
    • Mille Miglia
      1. Car must have competed between 1947 – 1957
      2. Open motor selection
      3. 15mm wheel 22×9 or 20×9 tire
      4. Fantasy liveries allowed.
    • Daytona Prototype 
      1. Race was tabled for now, and may be replaced.  If it goes forward the rules will follow Slot.it series rules.
    • Classic GT
      1. Plastic chassis
      2. 10 mm max rears. 6mm min fronts
      3. Open motor
      4. Lemans & Sebring 1950 – 1969 (Tentative.  More research pending.)

    Did we decide what weekend we are starting the Q1 races on?  My wish would be the 7th.  Let me know if that works for everyone else.

    That would be mine as well as Carla’s birthday is Jan 16th and me racing that weekend would end very badly for me
