This coming Saturday the 17th will be the Austin Slot Car Clubs annual Christmas party. The party will be at the club track at Kings Hobby starting at 1pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring something to eat or drink that can be shared with the group. We will also be having our White Elephant Gift exchange with a $20 max. There will be racing as we wrap up the Q4 Slot It Challenge and Unlimited GT race series. This is a great time to bring some friends to the track and have a great time running, talking, eating, drinking and having fun.
If you are planning on bringing something to share with the group please list it here on the forum so we can avoid everyone bringing the same things.
Thanks

I will be bringing some Smokey Denmark smoked meats and some Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale to wash it down with.
I can’t wait!

Honestly? I would spend the $5 to buy the pie at HEB and spend the time preparing your cars for the 2012 Q1 races. But that is just me.

I’m in for either a selection of cheeses/sausage/crackers or manderves. (I’ll try to do the latter, as I’m sure you all are terribly curious about just what a “manderve” is…) Bwahahahaha…..

If I had to guess, what about a Rocky Mountain Oyster on a Ritz cracker served with wasabe?

Well… your first guess might be close… I’ve never actually observed the construction of the main ingredient… suffice it to say that it is not the same as a “whorederve”.
Oh… and the cheese/meat platter is up for grabs… I’m all-in for manderves now.
