      Ary,

I love that car. I have one but have not built it. Great car with a great history.

The Lowenbrau Porsche 962-HR1 is the most sucessful 962 in history. With a chassis built by Andial, with Porsche’s blessing, and the motor tweaked by Springer to change it from an endurance spec racer to a shorter distance, rougher course winner and all done in the States. All that directed by the best race car driver/engineer ever – Al Holbert.

To encourage more club members to participate in the BRM Series I would be willing to stock all the BRM Porsche parts so all club members would have to purchase is the car. This way no one will have to worry about purchasing a full set of spares to get their car tuned and/or repaired. The only way I would do this is if we can get a grid of at least six BRM’s. At present we have a grid of four – Ary, Shawn, Brian and me. Let me know if any more of you would be interested in participating in this series.

As a heads up. The down side of the series is you have to use only BRM parts but the good news is there are a limited number of those. Its not like you have multiple motor’s or motor pods or different axles and wheels and you only have three rear tire choices. You buy a car and spend $39 and you have as good a car as anyone else in the series. I have more invested in parts in any of my Slot It race cars.

          Guys,

The BRM series rules have been posted: BRM Challenge Rules.

Please review as I chopped a lot of mambo jumbo.

            Ary,

The rules look good and I’m ready. When do we start?
