December 9, 2021 at 9:37 AM #17254Thanks for gathering the classes I have heard bandied about for next year. There are classes for which already have a car.
I would especially like to run the Group 5 Racer Sideways Capri that I did not get to drive in the proxy season.
I have the CanAm McLaren and Porsche 917K. I would like to run 0ne of my 3 917K (excluding the “special” one).
I have the Mercedes DTM which I don’t care for. Also the NSR GT3 Corvette I could leave in the box next year. Also the BRM 1/24 Group C which is an expensive, but really unexplored car that I could try. I have a Policar modern F1 that has not been fully developed.
For the Monte Carlo I have a Falcon BFG LeMans Porsche 924 and a Porsche 911 duck tail IMSA Canadian car, both not developed for racing. However, I like the NSR Fiat 500 which would be a new car for me.
A nice option would be the Scalextric BMW E30 PCR spec class for both tracks (allowing for gear ratio and tire changes between tracks). Then we could really imitate the varied terrain in the real Monte Carlo routes. However, the Capri, 917K and Fiat are my first choices.

This website and ones for successive years has some cars listed that we do not have on the CanAm challenge list. I do not know if any of the other cars are available in 1/32 competitive form.
