(Leroy Grumman)November 2, 2025 at 12:51 PM #23506Brian,
Please make the following corrections/additions to the rules:
Road track races will be 60 laps, run head to head, rotating through in the usual round robin fashion.

Some details are coming to light after the initial draft rules were written.
I Would like some discussion on road track voltage, would like to test 11 volts)
Will we have A and B classes? Separate heats? Different road track voltage? Also, for the rally track, I think alternating the direction each event, rather than a coin toss for this. Coin toss can determine initial direction.
I think it would be best if we could somehow ensure we have half the races on one track and half on the other. For example, if the coin toss too heavily favors the rally track, after 3 rally races, the remainder would be on the road track.
Hope this all makes sense.

-Warren ZevonNovember 6, 2025 at 9:18 AM #23672I am indifferent to voltage.
Alternating rally track directions is OK.
I agree that the races should be balanced between road and rally.
Now, aren’t we agreed that anglewinders only for the Porsche 997 Challenge? That is not reflected in the rules currently. Thanks.
November 6, 2025 at 9:23 AM #23673I was wondering about A & B classes in this series. After thinking about it for a bit, I think it will work just as well as it does for the other series. It has less meaning on the rally track, given the driver-selectable voltage, but for scoring it will be necessary to be consistent.
Considering the angle winder aspect of the series I think we should definitely test voltages before setting it in the rules. Much like we did last year with the F1-22 cars.
I agree with your assessment on taking steps to ensure a split series. Not sure selecting the direction of the following rally-track races based on the first direction matters, but happy with either decision there.
Build it strong.
Keep it simple.
Make it work.
(Leroy Grumman)November 6, 2025 at 9:38 AM #23675I just red-lined the motor and motor pod specs to reflect angle winder only.
Three suggestions to allow for effective car tuning:
- Allow any NSR AW motor pod.
- Allow any NSR long-can motor less than 25K.
- Allow any NSR gearing.
Build it strong.
Keep it simple.
Make it work.
(Leroy Grumman)November 21, 2025 at 3:19 PM #24142After some feedback, in the interest of tuning, and learning how to make the SW configuration work better for us, Race manager will relax the Chassis/body pod and drop arm requirements.Any hardness NSR parts allowed. Motor will remain the stock King 21/evo.
