Kinda of a mix between El Piloto & Proxy racing. Call me crazy but I think that something like the proposed bellow would be fun:
Cars
- Each participant would build their car and have it ready by round #1.
- Cars would remain untouched throughout the series.
Racing
- Modified El Piloto style.
- Each driver of a round would race all the cars, once, in all lanes. (heat times would be significantly less than 5min)
Scoring
- A participants total will be based on his racing & car scores.
- Driver scoring per heat will be the same used in our other series (10,8,7,6,5 …, +1 for fastest).
- Builder points (car points) will be based on consistency or most laps (to be researched).
Repairs
- If a car needs repairs, the race will be stopped in order to get the car in running order. One point of the car builder total will be deducted.
Thoughts?
