November 2, 2012 at 4:27 PM #1800Steer clear from the non-RACING FLY cars; those are front motored and are useless for this series. If you are buying a FLY car, it needs to have “RACING” somewhere in the description.
The Fly RACING cars come from factory with inline fk-180 motors (rear drive, pod-mounted), they also include a lightweight vacuum formed interior. The Fly RACING KIT comes unassembled with extra motor mounts, gears and springs.
New update list of the easiest brands to work with:
- FLY Racing Kit; FLY Racing (BMW M3 & Alfa 156)
- Spirit (Peugeot 406 Coupe – Silhouette version is NOT ALLOWED)
- ProSlot (Alfa 156)
- Scalextric
- Autoart
- Ninco
- SCX

November 4, 2012 at 1:31 PM #1803Don’t take this wrong, but if you buy your cars on ebay you should race them at ebay. If you race at Kings you should support Kings and try and buy from Kings. If you dont support Kings you may not have a place to race.
November 4, 2012 at 2:47 PM #1804Your comment can only be taken one way. I support Kings Hobby when it is feasible. If they have something I need

Yes, DTM cars are also legal.
November 11, 2012 at 1:42 PM #1827I have seen these run in previous series but wanted to confirm they are allowed in ours. Anyone?
November 11, 2012 at 2:22 PM #1828M3 GTR is allowed.
November 28, 2012 at 6:17 PM #1845I have put some work into my proxy car but am not too happy with the lap times. Would anyone be willing to share with me what they are running with their Q1 Touring Car Proxy car?
I did notice that the lap times for the touring car proxy we held at the track had lap times in the low 4.1’s. If that is the case for everyone else I have a lot of work to do.

November 30, 2012 at 4:44 PM #1848No, Marty you’re fine. Don’t worry about it. We’re all that slow.
