HaHa!! Can we finish the track this weekend?!
So, here is my first 1/32 Frankenstein. I tried the 80 pitch gears but I didn’t find a combination that would work with the distance between axle/motor, but I did get a 64 pitch combination to work. The original setup had a 20K motor with a 32/12 gear combo (ratio 2.67:1),at 12V I would get 7490rpm at the wheels. The new setup has a 40K motor with a 44/11 gear combo (ratio 4:1), and I should get 10K rpm at 12V. The tires were homemade using soft foam, the hubs are old 1/24 and I know they don’t look pretty but anyways … this is the first test.
