RevoSlot for 2022!
I am sure everyone remembers the rear tire issues we ran into when running the RevoSlot cars. There were a couple of different options tried ranging from Paul Gage tires mounted to the stock RevoSlot wheels to changing out the 3mm axle for a 3/32 which involves the change of wheels, axle, and bushings. This option would possibly work but it’s expensive and you now have mismatched wheels from the front to rear.
Wouldn’t it be great if someone made a RevoSlot wheel that would work with a Slot It F30 or NSR Supergrip tire?
I am here to make your dreams come true. Working with Steve at Slot Car Corner for the past nine months we now have CBD rear wheels that work on the 3mm axle and will allow you to run a Slot It or NSR tire. These wheels have not been announced publicly but will be very soon. These wheels are going to be available in a 8mm width and a 10mm width. CB Designs has produced wheel inserts that match the ones used on the RevoSlot cars. This had to be done as the RevoSlot wheel inserts come in multiple sizes and would have made producing wheels with different size interiors a pain in the *ss.
This should make running any RevoSlot car much easier and more enjoyable. The RevoSlot cars were already great running. This one tweak will make them even better.
