I’m guessing that it will take $25~40 for box plates. With approximately $200 for cars & tune-up I would probably go with Slot.it. When you add $50 per car, guide, tires & pinion/gear — it will be tight, some upgrades may not make the cut.
Regardless of the brand, I will buy GT cars, this way we can end the series before the GT unlimited and the club members can buy the models we used.
There are 26 Thursdays from April to September; assuming we can get this going in April (maybe a week earlier), the series would be over before GT started.
I’m not going to worry about schedule if there is no interested in the class. That said, we could race it every other Thursday, the off-Thursday can be used for BRM.
